2010 Coffee Hour Programs

The Corning Incorporated Retirees Group’s regular scheduled coffee programs in the Riverfront Café at the Corporate Headquarters Complex are held each second Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

FREE PARKING - Retirees and guests attending our monthly Coffee programs can park free in the company parking garage - the one behind the Club House building. Just pull up to the gate and when the guard asks your business, tell the guard you are there to attend the retirees' coffee program.

CANCELLATIONS - As a matter of policy, in the event weather forces Corning-Painted Post schools to close OR DELAY the start of the school day, the CIRG program will be cancelled.

Open to all Corning retirees and their guests, the programs feature guest speakers on informative and relevant topics. The schedule for the remainder of 2009 is as follows:
February 10 Tom Cortright of A-a-a-h, Flowers by Cortright will demonstrate fall floral arranging. As in his past presentation, his creations will then be given out as door prizes to lucky attendees.
March 10 David Hopkins - Topic: Steuben County 911 Service and Capabilities
April 14 Pat Baroody, Coordinator – NY Connects, Steuben County Office of the Aging. Pat’s agency provides information and services covering the gamut of health care services for people in our age group both for ourselves and for those we may find ourselves caring for. Expect this to be an informative and meaningful program.
